New Zealand vs England

This is expected to be a fantastic match as England has a strong side and with New Zealand who always is favored to win. New Zealand is coming into this match riding high after dismantling Ireland, but England made Australia look silly in their quarterfinals matchup. England is trying to make the case that the Northern Hemisphere has caught up with the Southern Hemisphere. This will be fun to watch.

Predictions

James Rowe: England. New Zealand is always favored, but the last couple of years they haven’t looked like the dominant team that they should be and with England looking really strong, I can see the All Blacks floundering here.

South Africa vs Wales

This will be an interesting matchup as South Africa is looking strong and Wales is getting back into their dominant form from earlier in the year. Wales has a strong defense and South Africa has been scoring lots of points this World Cup. Wales did manage to come back and beat France in the quarterfinals while South Africa made it look easy against Japan. Wales will be without Josh Navidi, which could be a huge blow to them.

Predictions

James: South Africa. The Springboks are on fire of late and Wales lost a key player for the match. Also, I’m not convinced that the Welsh are playing any great rugby form.
